How to Post Replies and Mentions on Truth Social
About replies and mentions on Truth Social
You can join conversations
on Truth Social by replying to others and by mentioning them in your own
Truths.
What is a Reply on Truth Social?
A reply is a response to
other users’ Truth. You can reply by clicking or tapping the reply icon
from a Truth made by others.
When you reply to someone
else, your Truth will show the message Replying to... when
viewed in your Social Truth profile timeline.
When someone replies to your Truths, you will see Replying to You above the Truth and you will see a notification on the Truth Social Notifications tab.

1020 Access Denied in Truth Social
When two people are
replying to each other on Social Truth, only those who follow the person
who replied and the person in the conversation will see the reply in their
timeline.
If you tap or click on a
reply on your Social Truth timeline, it will expand to display the Truth that
was replied to.
Replies from users with
protected Truths will only be visible to their Social Truth followers.
If someone sends you a reply on Social Truth and you are not following them, the reply will not appear in your Home timeline.
However, the reply will appear on your Social Truth Notifications tab.

1.
First, find the Truth you
want to reply to.
2.
Then, click the reply icon.
3.
A compose box will pop up,
type in your message and click or tap Reply to post it.
Think before you post a Truth on Truth Social
If Truth Social identifies
your Truth reply as using harmful or offensive language, they may ask you to
review it before sending it.
There will be options to edit, delete, or send the Truth reply.

What is a Mention on Truth Social?
A mention is a Truth that
contains another person’s username or handle anywhere in the body of the Truth.
Truth Social collects
these messages and all your Truth replies in your Notifications tab.
If you include many
usernames in your Truth, all of those people will receive a notification of
your Truth in their Truth Social Notifications tab.
Visiting another user’s
profile page on Truth Social will not display Truths that mention them.
However, you can search Truth Social for Truths mentioning their username.
How to Post a Mention or Tag on Truth Social
1.
First, type your message in
the Truth compose box.
2.
Then, type the “@” symbol
before the username when addressing a specific account.
3.
Finally, click or tap Truth to
post. If your Truth is a reply, the icon to post will say Reply.
When posted, the username in your Truth will become a link to the account’s
profile page you are mentioning.
Things to note
- By visiting another account’s
profile on Truth Social, you will not be able to see Truths that mention
them. However, you can search Truth Social for Truths mentioning their

- Truth replies from users with
protected Truths will only be visible to followers.
- If someone sends you a reply on Truth Social and you are not following them, the reply will not be visible in your Truth Social Home timeline. However, the reply will appear in your Truth Social Notifications tab.
